The DS Signature Dresses were culminated during the Egyptian revolution in 2011. During this time Egypt's fashion industry was at a stand sill, seasonal collections were irrelevant because no one was buying anything to go anywhere. The DS design house believed that women needed a timeless product, that could be worn during all times of the year for any occasion all around the globe. We were seeking to find a design influenced by cultures around the world, that could be worn at any age and to suit any body type. We wanted to design a piece that could be a coveted piece inside every woman's closet that can be worn time and time again. The world began to be tired of fast fashion and wanted timeless designs and from all this, the Signature Dress was born.

The DS Signature Dresses are designed from fabrics from around the world, they are free size, fitting any woman's body type and age, accompanying her through all the stages in her life. We believe these designs are ones that women could be themselves effortlessly in and shine just the same, a piece that spoke to them. A design that remained true to its promise all throughout emotional and physical changes. The Signature dress design is twelve years old now, but it continues to be a design that gives back to both the DS Design Company and their clients.
